Fishers Tigers Freshman Secure Second Straight Shutout in 22–0 Win Over Franklin Central The Fishers Tigers freshman football team continued their dominant defensive run on Saturday morning, shutting out the Franklin Central Flashes 22–0 for their second consecutive shutout victory. The Tigers showcased a balanced attack on both sides of the ball, with key performances from several players stepping up in big ways. The game started off as a defensive battle; with both teams trading stops early. Running back Jared Bonds broke the stalemate late in the first half, powering into the end zone behind the Tigers’ heavy package to give Fishers an early lead. After halftime, Isaiah Futch, who took over at quarterback for the week, extended the advantage with an explosive rushing touchdown. Bonds later sealed the victory with a highlight-reel 65-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, putting the game out of reach. Both Bonds and Futch also added two-point conversions, rounding out the Tigers’ 22-point performance. Defensively, the Tigers were relentless. Linebacker Bryson Goins came up with a crucial interception on the goal line, denying the Flashes their best chance to score. Up front, Mario Siniscalchi and Tyler Hathaway applied consistent pressure on the Franklin Central quarterback, while Benton Williams and Skyler Whitlow anchored a disciplined defensive effort that stifled the Flashes all morning. On special teams, tight end Kael Jacobs stepped in as kicker, pinning Franklin Central deep with strong field position and even recording a few tackles in coverage. With the win, the Tigers improve their record to 4-3 on the season (2-3 in conference play). The freshman squad will travel to Westfield on Saturday morning for their last road game of the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 10am. Go Tigers! Captains: Kael Jacobs, Devin Cleaver, Alex Turcios, Joey Spicer
