Freshman Tigers Close Season Strong with 28–7 Win Over Zionsville The Fishers Tigers freshman team put together a complete team performance Saturday morning, defeating the Zionsville Eagles 28–7 in dominant fashion. Dressed in their sharp alternate grey uniforms, the Tigers made a statement early when linebacker Carter Hackworth blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown on the opening series, setting the tone for the day. The offense quickly matched that intensity. On just their second offensive play, running back Jared Bonds broke free for a 50-yard touchdown run, igniting the Tigers’ sideline. Bonds continued his strong first half with another score, showcasing his speed and power. Quarterback Isaiah Futch kept the Eagles’ defense off balance with his scrambling ability and poise in the pocket, capping the first half with a touchdown pass to Zach Tellis. Kicker Noah Potts was perfect on the day, going 4/4 on PATs Defensively, Fishers was relentless, holding Zionsville scoreless in three of the four quarters. The front line of Hathaway, Coffman, and Siniscalchi set a physical tone in the trenches, while linebackers Hackworth, Goins, Williams, Repp, and Trebley displayed disciplined, well-prepared play throughout. The victory gives the freshman squad a final record of 6–3 overall and 4–3 in conference play. It’s been a great season, and we’re proud of every player for their hard work and commitment. A huge thank-you to our families for their incredible support all year long. The program’s future is bright — Go Tigers!
