Freshman Tigers Fall Short Against Noblesville, 28–15

By Rob Seymour | Sep 8, 2025 10:31 AM

The freshman Tigers dropped their first game of the season Saturday morning, falling 28–15 to Noblesville. The Millers set the tone early with a physical, disciplined defense that forced the Tigers to grind for every yard. Quarterback Carnahan and running back Bonds found success moving into Miller territory several times in the first half, but the Tigers couldn’t finish drives with points before halftime. Halftime adjustments sparked the offense, and the Tigers put together two strong scoring drives in the second half, both capped off by Bonds. The offensive line — Johnson, Engebretson, Benell, Turcios, Hathaway, and Siniscalchi — provided steady protection and opened lanes throughout the game. Kicker Noah Potts converted one field goal and went 0-for-1 on extra points. Turnovers and offensive miscues gave Noblesville short fields, but the Tiger defense played a tough game. Defensive linemen Siniscalchi and Coffman controlled the trenches, while linebackers Goins and Williams patrolled sideline to sideline. In the fourth quarter, linebacker Carter Hackworth recovered a fumbled snap, setting up a key field goal that cut the deficit to six. But the Millers’ ground game was too much to overcome. Noblesville milked the clock on its final possession, sealing the Tigers’ first loss of the year. The loss brings the Freshman record to is 2-1, 0-1 in conference play. We will play the blue school on Saturday, September 13th at home. Kickoff at 10am. Captains: Potts, Leahy, Morris, Stewart Offense MVPs: Offensive Line (Johnson, Engebretson, Benell, Turcios, Hathaway, and Siniscalchi) Defense MVPs: Coffman, Hackworth Special Teams: Potts
