Fishers High School

On Saturday morning your JV Fishers Tigers traveled to Carmel to take on the Greyhounds. The game started off perfectly for the Tigers with a defensive stop and a 75-yard TD run by Sam Hawkins. After a score by Carmel, Fishers drove the field twice and threw two TD passes from Kellen Miller to Keagan Gates, making the score 21-6. Carmel got the ball with just over 30 seconds remaining in the half and were able to muster up a drive to score with no time remaining, making it 21-13. The Tigers received the ball after halftime and once again drove the field, ending with a touchdown pass to Drew Spicer. After two different touchdowns and two 2-point conversions from Carmel, your Tigers were down 28-35. Fishers got the ball with 4 minutes remaining and scored on another rushing touchdown by Sam Hawkins to make the score 34-35, which unfortunately was the final score as the Tigers missed on the two-point conversion to win the game. Fishers JV will be at home next week against the Lawrence North Wildcats at 10am.
