Fishers Varsity Tigers easily dispatched Anderson Varsity Indians on Thursday, 11-4. Anderson Varsity Indians got on the board in the first inning after Emma Wilson hit a solo home run to center field. Fishers Varsity Tigers jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when Kendall Jordan singled, scoring one run, Kate Murray tripled, scoring two runs, and Cate Summerfield grounded out, scoring one run. Fishers Varsity Tigers added one run in the second after Kendall Jordan singled to center field. A wild pitch extended the Fishers Varsity Tigers lead to 6-2 in the bottom of the third inning. Fishers Varsity Tigers added to their lead with four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning thanks to home runs by Azstryd Alexander and Kate Murray. Kate Murray earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out three and walking one. Frankie Jackson pitched four innings in relief for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The reliever surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) while, striking out five and walking two. Linzi Harney took the loss for Anderson Varsity Indians. The starting pitcher went six innings, giving up 11 runs (10 earned) on 15 hits, striking out four and walking one. Liv McNall collected the save. Fishers Varsity Tigers accumulated 15 hits in the game.
