Fishers Varsity Tigers were triumphant over Brownsburg Varsity Bulldogs 9-4 on Wednesday. A single by Kate Murray put Fishers Varsity Tigers on the board in the top of the first. Fishers Varsity Tigers scored two runs in the top of the third on a home run to center field by Kendall Jordan. Frankie Jackson homered to center field, scoring three runs in the top of the fifth for the Fishers Varsity Tigers. Fishers Varsity Tigers added three more runs in the top of the sixth inning on four hits. Kendall Jordan doubled, scoring one run, and Adrianne Cook homered to center field, scoring two runs. Kate Murray earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The starter allowed nine hits and four runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking four. Avery Toole took the loss for Brownsburg Varsity Bulldogs. The starter went four and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs on nine hits, striking out six and walking two. Fishers Varsity Tigers tallied 13 hits in the game. Adrianne Cook and Kate Murray were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Fishers Varsity Tigers. Frankie Jackson and Kendall Jordan each drove in three runs for Fishers Varsity Tigers. Ag (ava) Pogue provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Brownsburg Varsity Bulldogs with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Tatum Hunt led Brownsburg Varsity Bulldogs with two hits in three at bats. Brownsburg Varsity Bulldogs didn't commit a single error in the field. Ag (ava) Pogue had the most chances in the field with six.
