The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (7-11-1/5-8) defeated the Avon Orioles 12-0 in 5 innings behind a dominant pitching performance from Jerry Jaramillo. He pitched his second consecutive 5 inning complete game. This time, he only needed 55 pitches to complete the shutout – facing one batter over the minimum with a weak hit into right field being the only Oriole to reach base. The Tigers bats came back to life as Fishers score 4 runs in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd, and 5 more in the 3rd to extend the lead. The top of the Tigers lineup led the way for the night. Andrew Baldini was 2-2 with 2 runs batted in and scored twice. Vinny Pecoraro recorded a double and two walks and scored all three times. Sean Frey and Ethan Buelt each recorded a hit, scored 3 times, and were responsible for 3 runs batted in. Parker Congdon was 2-3 and had 4 runs batted in while Grant Wolf provided a sacrifice fly and an RBI ground out.
