The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (6-10/4-7) got a great pitching performance from Donovan Proll and put together 11 hits to defeat the Carmel Greyhounds 11-4. Proll went 6 innings and allowed 2 unearned runs on 3 hits. He only walked 4 on the night while striking out 3 Greyhounds and earning the win. Caleb Compton provided the final inning of relief. The Tigers turned two double plays including a bases loaded 1-2-3 double play to get out of an inning. The Tigers hit well all night and were finally able to get on the board in the top of the 3rd inning. Andrew Baldini singled to drive in Vinny Pecoraro before Grant Wolf connected on a 3-run home run over the left center field fence. Wolf would come up to bat again in the top of the 4th and the result was the same – this time a 2-run home run to almost the same spot to stretch the lead to 7-0 in favor of Fishers. Carter Davis and Collin Bumps each contributed a double for the Tigers.
