The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (5-9/4-6) defeated the Southeastern Royals by a score of 13-2 in 5 innings as the offense exploded for 13 hits and Jerry Jaramillo pitched a complete game. Throught 3 innings, Jaramillo faced only one batter over the minimum – that Royal hit a solo home run to get Southeastern on the board. The Royals were able to put together a couple hits late in the game, but the damage was minimal. Jaramillo allowed only 5 hits and 1 walk on the night while striking out 6. The Tigers jumped out to an early 5-run lead in the 1st inning including RBI singles from Sean Frey, Micah Moore, and Asher Nelson and a 2-run home run by Grant Wolf. The Tigers continued the scoring as Andrew Baldini drove in 2 runs in the top of the 4th. Fishers drove in 4 more runs in the top of the 5th to induce the mercy rule. Frey finished 3-3 with a double. Vinny Pecoraro, Ethan Buelt, Baldini, and Wolf all finished with two hits.
