The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red team (3-7/2-5) jumped out to an early lead, but the Shamrocks bats answered back quickly and often on the way to a 13-3 victory for Westfield in 5 innings. Sean Frey and Andrew Baldini singled to lead off the game for the Tigers. Frey scored on a wild pitch before Justin Brown was able to drive in Baldini. The Fishers offense would go quiet after that until the 5th inning. The Shamrocks would score 9 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning including 4 with two outs. The Tigers continued to battle throughout as they loaded the bases in the top of the 5th inning but could only manage 1 run and continue the game. Westfield answered back with a run of their own to end the game early. Blake Wilson took the loss on the mound for the Tigers as he lasted 1.1 innings allowing nine earned runs. Caleb Compton pitched well in relief going 2.2 innings while scattering 5 hits leading to 2 runs while striking out 3.
