Fishers vs Cathedral - Boys Volleyball Recap Your pre-season coaches' ranked #5 Tigers walk away with a big 3-0 victory over #2 Fighting Irish in our home opener last night. Final scores were 25-15, 25-22 and 25-20. Our offense was led by senior outside hitter Nate Fitzwater with 20 total kills, followed by seniors OH Nick Tomlison with 7 kills and OPP hitter Drew Fisher with 3 kills. Our "quarterback" senior setter JT Guler recorded 28 assists. Our defense was anchored by senior libero Ian Pifer with 12 total digs and senior DS Davis Theobald with 17 serve receive attempts and a 2.35 serve receive rating. Juniors MB Collin Miller and Ethan Luenemann recoded a total of 5 combined blocks, helping slow down Cathedral's fast and strong offense. JV1 also walked away with a 2-0 victory while JV2 lost 0-2. Next up is our 11th Annual Fishers March Madness tourney this Saturday, March 29th starting at 11am. All three teams will be competing in our biggest hosted tourney of the year.
