Kate Murray hit two home runs and drove in three as Fishers Varsity Tigers defeated Tri West 3-0 on Tuesday at Home. Kate Murray homered in the fourth and sixth innings. The pitching was strong on both sides. Fishers Varsity Tigers pitchers struck out 10, while Tri West sat down three. Fishers Varsity Tigers got on the board in the fourth inning after Kate Murray hit a solo home run to center field. Kate Murray homered to center field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth for the Fishers Varsity Tigers. Kate Murray earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The starter surrendered four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking one. #14 took the loss for Tri West. The hurler went six innings, surrendering three runs on six hits, striking out three and walking none. Fishers Varsity Tigers turned one double play in the game. Kate Murray 2-3 2HR, Frankie Jackson, Anna McGrath, Azstryd Alexander, and Brooke Clayton each had one hit.
