Fishers Falls to HSE 47-34

Hamilton Southeastern defeated Fishers 47-34 Friday in the inaugural basketball game at the Fishers Event Center. The Lady Tigers limited the Royals to three first-quarter points and led 15-13 at the half, but the Royals pulled away in the fourth period to retain the Mudsock Trophy. Freshman Riley Schellhammer led Fishers with 17 points and 4 rebounds. Senior Nevaeh Dickman contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds, and Junior Nicole Ellison added 3 points and 7 rebounds off the bench. The Lady Tigers drop to 9-5 overall and 2-2 in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference. Fishers returns to action Friday, December 27, at 5:30 against Evansville Central at Washington High School.
