The Fishers Tigers traveled to Franklin Central and fell to the Flashes by a score of 22-15. Franklin Central put together methodical drives on the ground that ate up yards and clock, and the Tigers were never able to get their offense going. Caden Hill finished with 167 yards through the air, and JonAnthony Hall was responsible for both touchdowns – one on the ground and another receiving. The Flashes received the opening kickoff, but their possession was short-lived. Tyler Maynard had a sack on 2nd down, and the Flashes were eventually forced to punt. Fishers would also go 3-and-out quickly, but the snap sailed over punter Graham Imes’ head for a safety to give Franklin Central an early 2-0 lead. Franklin Central put together a 20-play, 80-yard scoring drive finished off by a 1-yard touchdown run by Jose Butler to extend the lead to 9. The Tigers defense kept working and a tipped pass was intercepted by Jev Hutton to give Fishers good field position to start the 2nd quarter. The Tigers drove into the red zone, but Damir Swanigan answered back win an interception at the 1-yard line to stop the scoring threat. The teams traded punts until Fishers took over with just under 5 minutes to play in the half. The Tigers put together a good drive including a 20-yard reception by Denkota Fletcher. JonAnthony Hall finished the drive with a 4-yard touchdown run to get the Tigers on the board and head to the locker room with the Flashes leading 9-7. The Tigers punted on the first drive of the 2nd half and the Flashes put together a long drive – this time 14 plays for 75 yards capped off by a 25-yard field goal by Zach Nassens. Two big passes got the Tigers offense going before Hall took a handoff and dove over the line to convert on a 4th down. Hill found Hall on an 11-yard touchdown, but the 2-point conversion was no good but the Tigers took a 13-12. Franklin Central again put together a long drive that finished the 3rd quarter and extended into the 4th quarter. Nassens converted on another field to give the Flashes the lead back at 15-13 early in the 4th. The Tigers would put together a drive and try to get into scoring position, but eventually turned it over on downs. Franklin Central answered with a 7-play 64-yard drive that ate up the clock finishing off with a 5-yard touchdown run by Avery Allen to give the Flashes a 22-13 lead. Fishers tried one last ditch drive, but the 4th down pass fell incomplete and the Flashes were able to take a knee and complete the victory.
