Ethan Luenemann named HCC Volleyball Athlete of the Year

Senior Ethan Luenemann has been named the Boys Volleyball Athlete of the Year by the volleyball coaches of the HCC. The 6’3” Middle Blocker had an outstanding senior year for the HCC Co-Champion Tigers. Offensively he finished with 312 kills, 15 assists and 23 aces. He also recorded 39 blocks, 166 digs and 334 service receptions. Luenemann’s Tigers claimed the HCC Championship last year and shared the title with Franklin Central this year. Coach Jordan Guler says, “Ethan was a force to be reckoned with on the court this season and an incredibly important leader for our team. As one of our captains, he brought energy and intensity every day, consistently using his voice to challenge and motivate the players around him.”
