The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red (15–8, 9–7 HCC) opened Hamilton County/HCC Tournament play with a strong 6–2 victory over the Westfield Shamrocks, powered by a dominant outing on the mound from Cooper Yeakle. Yeakle was in complete control early, retiring the first nine batters he faced across three perfect innings. He allowed his first baserunner on a leadoff single in the fourth but quickly regrouped, setting down the next six hitters through the fifth inning. With the Tigers’ offense providing steady support, Yeakle carried the momentum deep into the game. He finished with 5.2 innings pitched, allowing just one earned run on three hits, while striking out six and issuing only one walk. Hayden Dowell came on in relief in the sixth and closed the door, earning the save and securing the Tigers’ opening-round win. Fishers got on the board in the top of the fourth. Preston Tidwell delivered a clutch RBI double to break the scoreless tie driving in 2 runs. The Tigers added to their lead in the fifth inning when Drake Carnahan grounded out, bringing home Chase LoGreco to make it 3–0. After Westfield managed to scratch across a pair of runs, Fishers put the game away with a three-run seventh inning. Thomas Downey-Underwood came through with an RBI single to score Carnahan, while Kellen Ferguson crossed the plate on a Shamrocks throwing error. Cullen Wolf capped the scoring with an RBI groundout, driving in Downey-Underwood.
