Fishers Varsity Tigers had trouble keeping up with Hamilton Southeastern Varsity Royals in a 12-0 loss on Monday at Zionsville. Hamilton Southeastern Varsity Royals jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after CJ Smock induced Madison Burlingame to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Tori Bricker singled, scoring two runs. Grace Swedarsky earned the win for Hamilton Southeastern Varsity Royals. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. CJ Smock took the loss for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The pitcher went four innings, giving up five runs on nine hits, striking out one and walking four. Caroline Thompson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fishers Varsity Tigers in hits. Fishers finished the season with a record of 15-10.
