The Fishers Tigers Varsity Baseball Team (15-13/9-5) traveled to Brownsburg and lost to the Bulldogs 5-1. The Tigers could not get anything going offensively as they only had 3 total baserunners in the game from 2 walks and 1 hit. Isaac Fernandez broke up the no hitter with an infield single with 2-strikes and 2-outs in the 7th inning. The Tigers lone run came in the 2nd inning. Justin Brown led off the inning with a walk. Courtesy runner Carter Davis stole 2nd and advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch. Davis would score on Fernandez’s RBI groundout. Carter Strole pitched the 6th inning in relief and allowed 2 earned runs on 3 hits with 1 strikeout. The loss broke the Tigers 7 game winning streak and concluded the regular season schedule. The Tigers finished the season going 7-2 in the month of May and finished with a regular season record of .500 or better for the 10th straight season. The Tigers 9-5 HCC record put the Tigers tied for 3rd place and allowed the Tigers to finish in the top half of the conference for the 9th straight season, which includes 4 conference championships (2017, 2018, 2022, 2025). The focus now turns to the Sectional. The Tigers will play the Westfield Shamrocks in the Bye Game at the Noblesville Sectional 8. The first pitch is scheduled for approximately 8pm on Friday May 29th.
