By Matt Poisel | May 12, 2026 9:00 PM

The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red (10–7, 6–6 HCC) continued their strong offensive play with a convincing 13–5 victory over the New Palestine Dragons, highlighted by a decisive five-run fourth inning. Fishers got on the board in the second inning when Preston Tidwell delivered a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 1–1. The Tigers built momentum in the third as the first two batters reached base. Drake Carnahan advanced both runners with a well-executed sacrifice bunt, setting the stage for Kellan Ferguson, who singled to drive in a run. Another run crossed the plate when Chase LoGreco scored on an errant throw by the Dragons’ shortstop. The game broke open in the fourth inning. Fishers loaded the bases with two walks and a bunt single from Eli Poisel. LoGreco then came through with an RBI single to start the rally. Carnahan followed with a deep sacrifice fly that brought home both Tidwell from third and Poisel from second. Ferguson and Thomas Downey-Underwood capped the inning with RBI hits, giving the Tigers a commanding 8–2 advantage. On the mound, Fishers used a trio of pitchers to keep the Dragons in check. Tidwell earned the win, going four innings while allowing six hits and three runs. Downey-Underwood pitched a solid inning of relief, surrendering a leadoff home run before settling in and recording a strikeout. Poisel closed out the game, working around three hits and allowing just one run to secure the victory.
