Fishers Varsity Tigers took down Zionsville Varsity Eagles 6-3 on Friday. Zionsville Varsity Eagles got on the board in the first inning after Natalie Hester singled, scoring one run. Caroline Thompson singled to center field, which helped Fishers Varsity Tigers tie the game at one in the top of the second. A double by Frankie Jackson gave Fishers Varsity Tigers the lead, 2-1, in the top of the fifth. A single by Lucy Hunter gave Zionsville Varsity Eagles the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth. Fishers Varsity Tigers captured the lead, 6-3, in the top of the seventh after Adrianne Cook and Frankie Jackson got babck to back hits, and Elizabeth Hammond grounded out, each scoring one run.
