The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red (7–5, 5–5 HCC) responded emphatically to Wednesday night’s setback, rolling past the Southeastern Royals 11–6 to split the JV Mudsock series. After falling behind early, the Tigers erupted for 11 unanswered runs to seize control and secure the win. Southeastern threatened in each of the first two innings, putting runners on base, but starter Preston Tidwell limited further damage despite the Royals jumping out to a 5–0 lead. Fishers’ offense came alive in the top of the third. Eli Poisel opened the inning with a single, followed by a walk from Thomas Downey Underwood. Hayden Dowell then laid down a bunt single, and a throwing error allowed the Tigers to score their first run. The momentum only grew from there as Kellan Ferguson, Drake Carnahan, Isaac Fernandez, and Aaron Einsfeld each drove in runs, capping a big inning that tied the game at 5–5. The Tigers continued to pour it on in the fourth, plating five more runs to blow the game open. Downey Underwood, Dowell, and Jackson Pinchouck delivered key hits, while Ferguson and Einsfeld ripped doubles to fuel the extended rally. With the lead in hand, Fishers tightened up defensively. Tidwell set the Royals down in order in both the third and fourth innings, earning the win after allowing three hits, five runs, and striking out two. Hayden Dowell was excellent in relief, tossing 2.1 innings while allowing just one hit and recording a strikeout to help close out the victory.
