Fishers Varsity Tigers won big over Lawrence North Varsity Wildcats 11-1 on Wednesday. Fishers Varsity Tigers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Anna McGrath doubled, scoring two runs, and Joni Oliver was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Fishers Varsity Tigers added one run in the second. Adrianne Cook singled down the left field line, making the score 4-0. Fishers Varsity Tigers added three more runs in the bottom of the third inning on four hits. Joni Oliver hit a solo home run to left field, Cate Summerfield tripled, scoring one run, and Kennedy Shockley singled, scoring one run. Joni Oliver earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The pitcher surrendered three hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Riley Arbuckle took the loss for Lawrence North Varsity Wildcats.
