Fishers Varsity Tigers couldn't keep up with Westfield Varsity Shamrocks and fell 15-5 on Tuesday. Fishers Varsity Tigers got on the board in the first inning after Frankie Jackson doubled, scoring one run. Sydney Jordan singled down the right field line, which helped Westfield Varsity Shamrocks tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. Westfield Varsity Shamrocks flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 7-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Makayla Watson on the sixth pitch of the at-bat that drove in two. A single by Sofia Easterhaus, a walk by Carlynne Schrock, and a ground out by Sydney Jordan helped Westfield Varsity Shamrocks extend their early lead in the third. Olivia Sampia earned the win for Westfield Varsity Shamrocks. The hurler gave up eight hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out eight and walking none.
