The Fishers Tigers JV1 Red (3–4, 2–4 HCC) dropped a hard fought 4–3 decision to the Noblesville Millers on Saturday to close out the HCC series. The contest was delayed by rain and ultimately limited to five innings due to a prior commitment from the umpiring crew. Fishers struck first in the top of the second inning. Kellan Ferguson doubled to start the rally and later scored when Carter Davis reached on an error. Noblesville answered in the bottom half with an unearned run to even the score. The Tigers reclaimed the lead in the third when Isaac Fernandez lifted a sacrifice fly to drive in a run, but the Millers once again responded, pushing across two runs to take a 3–2 advantage. Fishers tied the game in the fourth inning as Thomas Downey Underwood beat out the back end of a double play, allowing Eli Poisel to score from third. Noblesville answered again to regain the lead at 4–3. The Tigers mounted one final threat in the top of the fifth, putting runners on base, but were unable to capitalize and force another inning. Hayden Dowell started on the mound for Fishers and took the loss, working three innings while allowing three unearned runs on three hits and striking out three. Owen Porter threw 1.1 innings of relief, giving up one unearned run while recording two strikeouts. Drake Carnahan recorded the final two outs out of the bullpen to keep the Tigers within reach late.
