Adrianne Cook collected three hits in five at bats, as Fishers Varsity Tigers defeated Pendleton Heights Varsity Arabians 11-6 on Thursday. Adrianne Cook hit a home run to left field in the fourth inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the seventh inning. In the top of the third, Fishers Varsity Tigers broke up the tie when Frankie Jackson doubled, scoring one run. Then a home run to center field by Brooke Clayton followed to extend the lead to 4-1. Adrianne Cook homered to left field, scoring two runs in the top of the fourth for the Fishers Varsity Tigers. Frankie Jackson earned the win for Fishers Varsity Tigers. The starter surrendered two hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Josie Statzer took the loss for Pendleton Heights Varsity Arabians. The starting pitcher went four and one-third innings, surrendering six runs on 10 hits, striking out three and walking none. Bella Balbo pitched one and one-third innings of shutout ball for Fishers Varsity Tigers in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up one hit, striking out one and walking none.
