FHS Boys Varsity Tennis Wins Sectionals

The Tigers defeated Noblesville 5-0 to win its first ever Sectionals.  They will play North Central in the first round of Regionals tonight Oct 3rd with matches starting 4:25 at North Central High School.

FHS Boys Varsity Tennis defeats HSE 3-2

The Tigers Boys Varsity Tennis edged HSE 3-2 in Sectionals.  Winning matches were #1 Singles William White, #2 Singles Nic Knoderer, and #3 Singles Marcus Luke.  The win advances the Tigers to the Sectional Championship on Thursday 9/28 vs Noblesville starting 4:30.  Matches to be held at HSE.


FHS Boys Varsity Tennis defeats Cathedral 3-2

The Tigers continued their strong play last night defeating Cathedral 3-2.  Winning matches were #2 Singles Nic Knoderer 6-1, 6-0   #3 Singles Marcus Luke 6-0, 6-0   and #2 Doubles Drew Dixon/Shravan Suravarjjala 7-5, 6-0.

FHS Junior Varsity Boys Tennis defeats Cathedral 12-3

A strong performance by the Tigers JV squad led to a well deserved victory over Cathedral by the score of 12 to 3.  The highlight matches of the evening were at #4 Singles Will Bielski winning in a tiebreak 8-7 (12-10) and #2 Doubles Dennis Cane/Ryan Elick coming back from a 3 game deficit to

FHS Boys Varsity Tennis defeats Guerin Catholic 3-2

Winning matches were #3 Singles Marcus Luke 6-3, 6-1.  #1 Doubles Ethan Fairfield/Sam Barrett 6-3, 6-1 and #2 Doubles Drew Dixon/Shravan Suravarjjala 6-3, 6-4.  Great job Tigers as we head to the HCC Championships to be played at HSE this Saturday Sept 16.

JV Boys Tennis defeats Guerin Catholic 13-1

Fishers Junior Varsity played some great tennis last night, highlighted in the doubles team of Garrett Beehler/Liam Green’s comeback victory winning 6-4 after falling behind 0-3.  The matches got off to a great start with impressive wins by #1 Singles Owen McEldowney, #2 Singles Ben Redar, and #3 Singles Jordan Guler.

Match wins for the Tigers were at #1 Singles Owen McEldowney, #2 Singles Ben Redar, #3 Singles Jordan Guler, and #1 Doubles Connor Gray/Peter Hallam, and #5 Doubles Youha Kim/Taha Mujahid who came back from a 6 game deficit to win in a tiebreaker 8-7 (7-5).

Boys Varsity Tennis falls to Brownsburg 2-3

Winning matches for the Tigers were #3 Singles Marcus Luke and #2 Doubles Drew Dixon/Shravan Suravarjjala.  The Tigers resume play at Zionsville this Thursday with matches beginning at 5:30.

Boys Varsity Tennis defeats Westfield 4-1

Wins came at #2 Singles Nic Knoderer 6-3, 6-4,  #3 Singles Marcus Luke 6-2, 6-1,  #1 Doubles Ethan Fairfield/Sam Barrett 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, and #2 Doubles Drew Dixon/Shravan Suravarjjala 6-2, 7-6 (7-5).   Tigers next match is at home vs Brownsburg Sept 5.  Matches will get underway around 5:30.
