The Fishers Tigers Varsity Baseball team (1-2/0-0) struggled to get going at the plate and were shutout for the first time since May 19, 2016, ending the program’s consecutive games scoring streak at 106 games. The Tigers could only muster 2 hits (1 each from JP Preston and Jack Brown) in the 10-0 loss to Columbus East. Three Tiger pitchers issued 9 walks, 5 hits, and 9 earned runs. Jack Brown (1-1) suffered the loss in his first start on the mound.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday in the final game of the Noblesville Invitational before hosting Zionsville on Wednesday in the HCC opener.
