The Lady Tigers traveled to the East Central Tournament and went 1-2 on the weekend. In the opening game, Fishers defeated North Harrison 64-47 and were led by Tamia Perryman’s double-double. The junior had 14 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Skylar Fulton was outstanding, as well, going 8 for 10 from the floor for a team high 20 points to go along with 3 steals. Katie Burton added 14 points and 5 steals.
On Saturday morning, the Tigers fell to Dixie Heights (KY) in a close battle. Tied after 4, the Colonels went on a 4-0 run to start the 4th and never looked back defeating Fishers 60-49. Katie Burton led the Tigers in scoring with 16 points. Audra Emmerson added 13 points and Tamia Perryman had 10 points and 7 rebounds.
The Tigers lost to Seymour in their final game of the tournament on Saturday by a score of 56-52.
FHS (11-6) travels to North Central on January 5th for a 6:00 JV start with Varsity to follow.
