In a loaded field that featured 6 of the top twenty teams in the state, your Lady Tigers track and field team finished second place overall today at the Royal Relays! Athlete of the Meet was Brynn Urban for a couple of great finishes to her legs of the DMR and 4 x 800! Leading the way for the Tigers was the Alex Miller and Emily Monson, who combined to finish tied for first in the high jump. Tamia Perryman placed third and Danielle Harrison fifth in the 100 meter dash. Corinne Yorkman placed third and Liz Rogers placed sixth in the 1600 meter run. Corinne O’Leary placed third and Natalie Segura placed fifth in the 3200 meter run. Katie Folta placed third and Gabby Lewis placed fifth in the 300 meter hurdles. The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Toni Grace, Danielle Harrison, Grace May, and Tamia Perryman placed fourth, as did the 4 x 200 meter relay team of Grace, Harrison, May, and Perryman. The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Arianna Kelley, Evelyn Butler, Mia Yates, and Chloe Schroeder placed fourth, as did the Distance Medley Relay team of Haley Thomas, Evelyn Butler, Mia Yates, and Brynn Urban. The shuttle hurdle relay team of Lauren Hege, Arianna Kelly, Gabby Lewis, and Elika Mayes also placed fourth. The 4 x 800 meter relay team of H. Thomas, Lilia Bodnar, Yates, and Urban placed third. Alison Casey cleared 9’0” to place sixth in the pole vault, while Katie Folta and Gabby Lewis combined for 3rd in the long jump. Olivia Willman and Rae Winkle combined for seventh place in the shot put and fifth in the discus.
