Congratulations to the FHS Lady Tigers on an amazing season that culminated in today’s 5th place finish at the 2018 IHSAA Girls Swimming & Diving State Meet. Your Lady Tigers showed poise and toughness throughout this championship season and today’s results were a true team effort. Every swim mattered and the girls certainly came to race. In fact, throughout the championship run, every girl on the State Team earned at least 1 lifetime best swim. Highlights from the State Meet included:

200 Medley Relay – 7th Place – Corinne Yorkman (10), Miya Wai (11), Nicole Rueff (11), and Ellen Fero (10)
200 Free – 11th Place – Hannah Pratt (10) and 15th Place – Abby Jahns (10)
200 IM – 15th Place – Corinne Yorkman (10)
50 Free – 5th Place – Amilia Nusbaum (12)
1-Meter Diving – 9th Place – Morgan Casey (9) and 14th Place – Grace Mossing (9)
100 Fly – 10th Place – Kara Robeson (11)
100 Free – 8th Place – Amilia Nusbaum (12) and 15th Place – Hannah Pratt (10)
500 Free – 3rd Place – Samantha Hietpas (11), 7th Place – Abby Jahns (10), and 9th Place – Morgan Booth (11)
100 Back – 14th Place – Corinne Yorkman (10)
100 Breast – 11th Place – Miya Wai (11)
400 Free Relay – 4th Place – Amilia Nusbaum (12), Abby Jahns (10), Kyla Srncik (10), and Hannah Pratt (10)

One other special note… in Friday night’s Prelims, Amilia Nusbaum (12) set a new school record of 23.44 in the 50 Free.
