The Lady Tigers headed to the IUPUI Natatorium on Saturday, December 16, for the Christmas Classic. The energy was high and the girls raced well. Individual event winners included Corrine Yorkman (10) in the 200 IM and 100 Back, Amilia Nusbaum (12) in the 100 Free, and Abby Jahns (10) in the 500 Free. For the divers, Grace Mossing emerged victorious. And, the 200 Free Relay of Amilia Nusbaum (12), Hannah Pratt (10), Ellen Fero (10), and Kyla Srncik (10) also took 1st place honors.
In the JV contest, Fishers also beat Bloomington South by a score of 82 to 13. Individual JV winners included Emma Julien (10) in the 200 Free and 100 Fly, Samantha Hietpas (11) in the 200 IM and 500 Free, Kylie Terpening (9) in the 100 Free and 100 Back, and Kayce Ingram (12) in the 100 Breast. Brianna Weiss (10) took 1st place in 1-meter diving. On the relay side, the 200 Medley Relay (Samantha Hietpas, 11; Emily Pfeifer, 9; Sarah Jacobs, 12; Kylie Terpening, 9), 200 Free Relay (Zoe Luckie, 11; Sarah Jacobs, 12; Anna Stephan, 11; Emma Julien, 10), and 400 Free Relay (London Osmun, 12; Anna Stephan, 11; Anna Meyer, 11; Sarah Jacobs, 12) were all victorious. Great job to all of the Lady Tigers who competed today! The Tigers will be back in action at the North Central Invitational on Thursday, December 28, at 1:00p. We’ll see you there!
