The lacrosse girls defeated MaxPrep’s number one team in the state of Indiana, Noblesville last night 13-12 . The entire team had the best performance of the year led by Emily Gauspohl’s leadership and athleticism. She spent most of the evening limiting the Miller’s top offensive players. Additionally, she excelled within her new offensive responsibilities and was dominate in gaining possessions for the Tigers off of draws. Abby Trent was able to sprint by defenders in transition and recorded two assists late in the game to seal the victory for the Tigers. Kelsey Bolin had a career high 14 saves in a matchup against one of the top offenses in the state. The usual suspects scored for the Tigers led by Skylar Fulton (5 goals). Mackenzie Miller trails the top scorer in the state by 5 goals helped by her 4 goal performance. Nina Dillard, continued her scoring ways with 3 goals. The Tigers have won two games in a row and will travel to Warren Central tonight.
