The Fishers Tigers hosted the Westfield Shamrocks for the final regular season game of the 2020 season. The Tigers had a strong first half as they racked up almost 200 yards of offense, but the Rocks were more potent. Maximus Webster was responsible for all six Rocks touchdowns as he rushed for 5 and passed for another. Lucas Prewitt found Jeffrey Simmons from 37 yards out for the only score on the night for the Tigers.
The Fishers Tigers received the opening kickoff and drove the length of the field on an 11 play, 80 yard drive capped off by a beautiful 37 yard pass from Lucas Prewitt to Jeffrey Simmons to give the Tigers an early lead. The Rocks answered right back with their own drive down the field. Maximus Webster scored on a short quarterback keeper. The Tigers were forced to punt which was blocked and recovered by Magwire Graybill for the Rocks. Webster again kept and scored from 1 yard out to extend the lead to 14-6. Webster would add another 13 yard score late in the 1st quarter.
While the Tigers offense struggled to get going, the Rocks stayed hot in the second quarter and added 14 more points. Micah Hauser scored on a 1 yard run and Webster found Mason Piening for an 8 yard touchdown. Both teams were prolific on offense as the Rocks racked up over 250 yards and the Tigers had almost 200 at the break.
Westfield drove down the field early in the 3rd quarter as Webster scored his 5th touchdown on the night to push the lead to 42-6 and begin a running clock. Frankie Ispen kicked a 22 yard field goal midway through the 4th quarter.
Fishers closes out the regular season as they travel to Zionsville next week before hosting Southeastern on October 30 in the first round of sectionals.
