Defense was the name of the first half as the teams combined for 8 punts. TJ Newnum also recovered a fumble for the Eagles, but the Tigers defense was able to step up and force a punt which pinned the Tigers inside their own 5. After a short punt by the Tigers, Josh Stone eventually found Luke Baumgartner for a 7 yard touchdown to push the Eagles lead to 14 point halftime lead.

The Eagles offense stayed hot throughout the 2nd half and eventually pulled away from Fishers. Early in the 3rd quarter, Price again found the end zone for Zionsville before Stone connected with Trey Firestone to make the score 28-0 in favor of the Eagles. The Tigers finally got on the board when Lucas Prewitt found Landon Morris who was able to outrun the defense for a 39 yard touchdown.

Zionsville would put 10 more points on the board in the 4th with another Stone to Baumgartner touchdown and an AJ Vinatieri 19 yard field goal.
