The Tigers Varsity Boys Basketball team was in action at home vs conference opponent, the Noblesville Millers, on Friday night. The Tigers started out the game slow on the offensive end but held the Millers to just 4 points in the quarter. The Tigers led at the end of the quarter 8-4. In the 2nd quarter, the Tigers stepped up their defense and held Noblesville to 0 points in the quarter. The Tigers went in to halftime leading 15-4. In the third, the Tigers struggled to score and the Millers started to chip away at the Tigers lead. The Millers made their adjustments on the defensive end and held the Tigers to 2 points in the quarter, ending the quarter with the Tigers up 17-10. In the 4th quarter, the Millers put together a strong offensive quarter and took the lead 21-20 with 3 minutes to go in the game. From there the Millers kept control of the game and beat the Tigers 27-22. The Tigers were led in scoring by Terry Hicks with 11 points. The Tigers are now 1-2 to start the season and 0-1 in conference play. The Boys Varsity team is back in action on Saturday, December 2nd at 7:30pm where they will take on Fort Wayne Snider at home.
