The Tigers Varsity Boys Basketball team was in action on the road last night to face the Arsenal Tech Titans. In the 1st quarter, the Tigers came out slow and could not find their offensive stride. The Tigers only led by 2-points at the end of the quarter, 10-8. In the 2nd quarter, the Titans continued to put up a good fight, only down 3-points at the half. The Tigers led at the half 23-20. In the 3rd quarter, both teams continued to battle but the Tigers were able to hold on to the lead. FHS led at the end of the 3rd quarter with a score of 42-37. In the 4th quarter, the Tigers put the game away with a final score of 59-55. The Tigers were led by senior Terry Hicks who poured in 16 points for the game. Jeffrey Simmons came away with 14 points, Willie Jackson scored 13 and Alex Szilagyi added in 7 points in the contest. The Tigers are now sitting with an overall record of 10-4 and 2-0 in the conference. The Tigers are back in action on the road again to face conference opponent the Brownsburg Bulldogs on January 11th with a 7:30 pm tip-off.
