The Fishers JV Silver (3-4/2-2) team came out slow against Kokomo to drop the first game of their double header 12-6.
Kokomo jumped out to a 4 run lead in the first inning and would not look back as they added 8 more runs throughout the game.
The Tigers would still put up a fight though. They answered back in the second inning, scoring two runs. James Gibbs and Tate Warner reached base with back-to-back hit HBP. They would later be driven across the plate on a Curtis Kearschner double. Fishers added another run in the third inning after Cody Thomas reached first on a single. He was moved to second on a Joe Hietpas walk. Thomas would then go on to steal third base. Kyle Jankowski collected an RBI driving Thomas home on a groundball to second base. The Tigers mounted a small come back effort in the sixth inning adding 3 more runs.
Evan Gilbert (0-1) started on the mound for Fishers earning the loss. Gavin Rackley and Brady Miller pitched in relief for Fishers.
