The Fishers JV Silver (8-7-1/3-4-1) came up one run short against Brownsburg.

Fishers struck first with one run in the 1st inning. Cody Thomas reached base on an error and was then moved to 2nd base on a Kyle Jankowsi ground ball. Joe Hieptas would plate Thomas with an RBI double. The Tigers pushed the score to 2-0 in the second inning after 3 singles in the inning from Tate Warner, Dylan Rapp, and Colin McPeek. McMeek collected the RBI, scoring Warner.

Each team scored a run in the 4th inning to move the score to 3-1. Entering the 7th inning Fishers was leading 5-2 when the Bulldogs bats woke up and produced 5 runs in the inning. The Tigers entered the bottom of the 7th inning down 7-5. James Gibbs crushed a double to left and was plated on a Brady Miller single. Carter Bantz would come in to courtesy run for Miller and end up getting caught in a pickoff at first base to end the game.

Joey Wilmoth started the game on the mound for the Tigers. Fishers would go on to use 5 different pitchers in the game in an effort to position their pitching rotation for the upcoming tournament.

Fishers looks to split the series versus the Bulldogs, 5/16/19 at 6:00 pm at Brownsburg High School.
