Your tigers JV football team had a convincing win over the Hamilton Southeastern Royals on Monday winning 35 – 14. The Tigers shut-out the Royals for the first 3 quarters of play coming up with big stops in the red zone, including an interception by Bobby Fox late in the 4th quarter. The defense, overall, on the night was lead by a strong defensive front that stopped the HSE running attack, forcing them to have to throw the ball. Offensively the tigers scored on their first play of the game with a touchdown pass from Lucas Pruitt to Kristian Jones to get the tigers started. Later touchdowns were added by Pruitt on a QB sneak, Matt Noble with a physical run, Jayden Crenshaw on a 40+ yard run, and Nick Leath on a touchdown reception just before the half. This is the JV tigers first win of the season, coming off of 2 very close games to open that season that got away from the JV in the 4th quarter. The JV tigers look to take the field again on Saturday when they head to Brownsburg to take on the bulldogs at 9am.
