The Freshman Tigers lost on Monday night to Westfield by a score of 28-6. Westfield opened the game up with an 11-play offensive drive that ended in a touchdown. The Tigers matched just three plays later with a 65 yard touchdown run by Dominic Oliverio. Both teams traded possessions until Westfield added a passing touchdown in the second quarter. The Tigers went into halftime down by a score of 14-6. The second half was dominant by Westfield. They used their size and speed and consistently wore down the Tiger defense over the course of the next two quarters. The Tiger offense had some success moving the ball, but could not score even when entering the red zone. The Tigers gave consistent effort throughout the game but ultimately were beat by a great opponent.
Fishers now sits at 3-4-1 on the season and looks to end their season out well against Zionsville on Saturday. Go Tigers!
