The Fishers freshman football team got their 3rd shut-out of the season on Monday night blanking Franklin Central 33 – 0. The Tigers improved to 4 – 3 on the season (3 – 2 in conference play) with two games remaining. The Tiger offense was lead by a solid showing from the offensive line which allotted for 0 sacks and big rushing yards. Contributing to the scoring for the Tigers was Aiden Zimmer with a TD reception from Lucas Minns, two TD runs by RB Carson Dunn, a rushing TD by WR Hunter Lewis, and a QB wedge for the final score of the game by Jaidyn Higgins. The Tiger defense put together a strong performance forcing 4 take-aways in the game (3 INT’s and 1 fumble recovery). Forcing the interceptions were DB Grant Shelton, LB Grady Stanley, and DB Josh Peyton. The Tigers will take the field again after a short week this Saturday at Westfield for their final road game of the season. Kickoff is set for 10a.m.
