The Fishers Freshman Boys Basketball A-Team beat a previously undefeated Pike team this past Thursday 1/4 by a final score of 48-37 pushing their record to 3-5 on the season. The Tigers came out focused from the tip running out to a 12-8 lead after the 1st quarter and carrying that into a 22-13 advantage into halftime. A strong overall team defensive effort in the 2nd half allowed Fishers to maintain a 10 point advantage for the remaining 2 quarters of play. Leading the way for the Tigers was Nolan Miller with 14 points and Isaac Bowman added 12 in his first action of the season. Rounding out the offensive attack for Fishers was Braden Baker with 8 points, Lucas Prewitt and Caleb Gates each added 5 points and Jack Belt chipped in 4 points and 3 rebounds.
The Tigers are in action again on Tuesday 1/9 when they host Indianapolis Technical High School at 6:00 pm.
