First across the finish line tonight for the Tigers was senior Sawyer Osmun in 20:28. Erin Johnson ran a 20:43 to finish 5th overall. The next three scorers for Fishers were Arianna Kelley 20:46 7th place, Caroline Riebe 20:54 10th place, and Mia Yates 21:03 in 14th place.

Megan Gibson finished her 1st race of the season today and Sarah Hauser was back racing today as well!

Game Recap

The Tigers fell to a record 2-3 on Monday after a disappointing loss against Brownsburg. The Tigers offense was consistent in the first half, but failed to convert in the second half. The defense held strong throughout the majority of the game, but a couple big plays by Brownsburg led to touchdowns. Fishers stopped the Bulldog offense with a little over 2 mins. left in the game and took over on offense, looking to put together a game winning drive, but the game was ultimately canceled due to lightning in the area.

Fishers will look to get back on track next Monday against Avon at home.

Game Recap

Monday, late game and very muggy. The Lady Silver Tigers had the card stacked against them as they played host to the road wary Eagles of Zionsville. The lady’s started the game a bit lackadaisical and the Eagles were quick to swoop down and score quick. Abby Smith was quick to brush it off and rally her team. Sage Heymann and Emma Burns were patient to allow opportunities to penetrate the Eagle Defense. MacKenzie Boyer put the Eagles on notice by getting all the way to goal line for crosses. Vivian Wilson worked hard both offensively and defensively. Emilianna Castillo made life challenging for Eagles until she sustained an injury. Hayley Brown used her physical play to scatter the Eagle attack and distribute to her team. Still with all their hard work the Eagles were able to snatch another goal from the Tigers. Half ended down two. The lady were unhinging, so after a refocus session they took to the field to fight back. Marlee Weaver and Emma Brinson used their skill to win balls back and force the Eagle to return to the nest. Hayden Stamper and Emma Burns used combination play to claw our way into the attacking third. Ella Collesano with her light footed ability was able to make the Eagle defense nervous with drives within shooting distance. Brianna Cuahuizo gave much needed rest to starting defenders and did not give the Eagles room to fly. Laila Sappington stepped into a new role as a defender and clipped the wings of every Eagle that got close to our den. In the end Aleris Crum made some deep penetrating runs into to the strike zone, but ladies were not able to damage the Eagle nest. The Silver Lady Tiger continue their march to the final game with a contest against North Central, tonight.
