Boys Junior Varsity Wrestling, Boys Varsity Wrestling · High School Season Comes To An End; 2 Tigers Qualify For Freshman/Sophomore State


A weekend filled with Tiger wrestling. On Saturday, 7 Tigers represented Fishers at New Castle Semi-State. 113: Tye Linser, 120: Griffin Ingalls, 126: Dylan Parodi, 132: Zach Strueder, 145: Tyler Lindamood, and 160: James Carroll dropped their first round matches. 106: Quenton Riley was the lone Tiger in the “ticket round.” His loss came to #3 Nathan Smith of Southport. After an unpredictable year, your Tigers were able to finish the season. Thank you seniors Luu Nguyen, Josh Thompson, Tyler Lindamood, and Max Kohne.


On Sunday, 3 Tigers competed at the Freshman/Sophomore State Qualifier at Portage High School. 2 Tigers placed top 8 and qualified for the State Tournament! Anthony Riley led the way with a 6th place finish. Carson Calin finished the day with 7th place. Alex Hartman also competed. Next week, Indy Nationals at Southport, is the final qualifier for the Fr./So. State Tournament.
