Boys Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · FHS Tigers Named as NISCA All-Americans and Academic All-Americans


The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently announced its 2018-2019 All-American Swimmers and Divers. Athletes hitting the NISCA standards, either in short course yards or short course meters can earn an All-American designation upon approval of an application submitted by their coach. Swimmers who then reached the consideration standard will be added until 100 swimmers are chosen per event. Fishers High School individual athletes recognized as NISCA All-Americans are:

  • Morgan Casey – 1-Meter Diving
  • Samantha Hietpas – 500 Free
  • Will Jansen – 1-Meter Diving
  • Drake Stallworth – 100 Fly

Fishers High School relay athletes recognized as NISCA All-Americans are:

  • Corinne Yorkman, Lydia Reade, Kara Robeson, and Ellen Fero – 200 Medley Relay
  • Ellen Fero, Alexandra Stein, Kalli Agapios, and Hannah Pratt – 200 Free Relay
  • Ellen Fero, Alexandra Stein, Corinne Yorkman, and Hannah Pratt – 400 Free Relay

NISCA also announced its 2018-2019 Academic All-Americans as well. To earn this recognition, athletes must Have a minimum GPA of 3.750 on a 4-point scale, be a graduating senior, and have lettered in your high school program (swimming, diving, or water polo) your senior year. Fishers High School athletes who were named Academic All-Americans are:

  • Kara Robeson
  • Nicole Rueff
