Girls Junior Varsity Track & Field, Girls Varsity Track & Field · Tigers 2nd at Hamilton County Meet


Tonight the Fishers girls track team placed 2nd at the Hamilton County meet.  Leading the way for the Tigers were two Hamilton County Champions!  Ella Scally was the high individual point scorer for all athletes at tonight’s meet!  Ella won the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash, and was runner-up in the long jump.  She was also a part of the 4 x 100 meter relay team that placed second!  Athlete of the Meet for the Tigers was Katie Folta, who was the Hamilton County champion in the 300 meter hurdles, placed third in the long jump, and ran a great split on the 4 x 400 meter relay team!

Other point scorers for the Tigers included:

Arianna Kelley placed 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles

Alison Casey placed 2nd in the pole vault

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Grace May, Scally, Gabby Lewis and Myah Donaldson placed 2nd

Myah Donaldson placed 3rd in the 100 meter dash

Johanna Strueder placed 3rd in the 3200 meter run

Emily Monson placed 3rd in the high jump

Tessa Kraft placed 4th in the 3200 meter run

Gabby Lewis placed 4th in the 200 meter dash

The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Folta, Kelley, Kate Baumgartner, and Chloe Schroeder placed 4th

The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Emma Gillespie, Abby Carter, Megan Mybeck, and Elizabeth Barrett placed 4th

Evelyn Butler placed 5th in the 400 meter dash

Elizabeth Barrett placed 5th in the 1600 meter run

Olivia Willman placed 5th in the shot put

Abby Carter placed 6th in the 1600 meter run

Arianna Kelley placed 6th in the 100 meter hurdles

Sarah Reddan placed 6th in the high jump

Olivia Willman placed 7th in the discus

Kenadi Jumper placed 7th in the shot put

Lauren Hege placed 8th in the 100 meter hurdles

 

The Tigers will be back in action next week as they travel to HSE for the IHSAA Sectional Meet on Tuesday, May 14th.
