Tigers News · Fishers announces Josh Jones as Strength and Conditioning Coach

Fishers High School would like to welcome Josh Jones to the Tiger Family.  Coach Jones has been hired as the Strength and Conditioning Coach to work with all Tiger athletes and the advanced physical conditioning classes for the physical education department.

Josh is a 2009 graduate of Indiana State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science along with a 2011 Master’s degree from IUPUI.  Prior to coming to Fishers, Coach Jones was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Vanderbilt University’s Women’s Basketball Program.  In addition, Jones has served roles as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Indiana Fever and Zionsville High School.  His assistant coaching roles include IUPUI, NIFS, and St. Vincent Sports Medicine.

Josh played football at ISU for the Sycamores and was a 2015 qualifier for the National Olympic Weightlifting Championships.

Coach Jones’ certifications include CSCS, USAW Level I Sports Performance Coach, Functional Movement Screen Level I Certified, and Precision Nutrition Pn1.

Josh and his wife, Stephanie, have three kids (Josh-6, Drake-2, Sophie-6mo) Stephanie will be a third-grade teacher at Fishers Elementary School.
