Meet Recap

The JV race saw a large pack of Tigers off to a quick start. Aaron Worley and Eli Hagedorn were in the thick of the race at the 3k mark, 6th and 8th respectively. Not far off the initial group was a smaller group that included Quintin Goldman and Jared Halamka. Worley coming off an injury, moved up to the 5th position at the 4k mark while Goldman broke into the top 10. Worley crossed the finish line in the 5th spot with a time of 17:08.1. Goldman, a sophomore, crossed in 8th place with a PR time of 17:18.8. Hagedorn finished in 10th, crossing the line at 17:29.1. Ben Schwartz had the best race of his young career, finishing in 18th place with a PR time of 17:47.7. The remaining top 7 JV runners for the Tigers were Luke Sorrell (18:03.8), Hunter Christy (18:08.8) and Dylan Arive (18:12.6).

The Carmel Greyhounds won the JV meet with a team score of 22 points. The Tigers finished 2nd with 55 team points. Rounding out the top 5 teams were the Zionsville Eagles (102 points), the Westfield Shamrocks (106 points), and the Cathedral Irish (154 points).
