Game Recap

The JV Tigers (4-1/1-1) won the second game of the series and the evening as they found their offense in a 12-4 victory. The Tigers started their scoring in the 1st inning by putting up 4 runs. Taylor Soper capped off the first by hitting a 2-run homerun over the right field fence. Freshman Matthew Wolff added 4 hits and 3 RBIs on the night. 7 Tigers had hits in the game, and the Tigers took 10 extra bases to put pressure on the defense all night long.

Freshman Craig Yoho earned the victory in his first JV start throwing an absolute gem. Yoho went 5 innings allowing 1 run on 1 hit while striking out 6 hitters. Yoho showed great control over all of his pitches. Soper came into the game in the 6th and did a great job to keep the Tigers in position for the win. Alex Gleason finished the game by getting the last out.
