Game Recap

The Fishers Tigers Varsity Baseball team (3-2/0-0) scored 8 runs in the 5th & 6th, but could not complete the comeback losing 11-10 to Station Camp (TN). Down 11-2, the Tigers connected on 5 straight hits to start the 5th inning rallying to score 5 runs. The Tigers scored 3 more in the 6th and had bases loaded when Junior Alex Wright lined out to the shortstop to end the rally.

Offensively, the Tigers finished with 11 hits. Sophomores Andy Bennett and Luke Duermit both had triples. Bennett finished 2-4 with 2 RBIs. Senior Evan Ruthsatz contributed a 3-hit day. Senior Joe Michel added 2 singles and an RBI, and Senior Jacob Totman had a double.

Senior Brandon Yoho (1-1) took the loss on the mound. Junior Elliott Gilmore pitched well in relief, striking out 4 in 3.2 innings.

The Tigers finished 2-2 on their trip to Knoxville, TN. They will begin HCC play next week with a 3-game series against Noblesville, hosting the Millers on Thursday at 6pm and Saturday at 11am. The Tigers will travel to Noblesville on Friday at 6pm.
